The more I study this, the more I realize just how big this will be once they pass Phase 111 and receive FDA certification. Phase 1 testing is for safety. It has to be safe or there is no more testing.

Phase 11 testing either proves, or disproves, whether the product works. This involves a blind and/or placebo group and a group taking the medication. If there is no difference in the results from the 2 groups, testing is stopped. It failed.

But, if the drug passes Phase 11 testing, that is a huge deal. Phase 111 testing uses the same format as Phase 11, but the number of people being tested is much larger. Once Phase 111 testing is complete and successful, it is time for FDA certification.

Many companies use hundreds of patients in Phase 11 testing just to make certain they have worked out all of the bugs, so to speak. Passing Phase 11 is where it is at. This is a big deal.
