Posted this earlier but here is my take: So to me this says they have joined up probably to answer a request for bid on some kind of contract that they each have a mutually beneficial “piece of the pie” to go after. This kind of thing is standard in government contracting as well as contractors bidding for subcontracts to the larger DoD contractors. Been on one of these as well, my first job coming out of the Navy, I was with a tiny IT firm but the team of 5 guys I was on had a special subset of skills that the DoD needed so we subcontracted to a larger firm who was able to handle the security side of the contract, hence the “other piece of the pie” and we won the contract. Granted unfortunately the contract only lasted a year and we lost the re-bid because some other small fry undercut us but still you get the picture. This is great news and hopefully just the beginning
