All of your points are valid - nobody can deny the company's disastrous past, but nonetheless, I don't believe Marc was using the money of all the previous BMIX shareholders who came and went to finance his vacations or personal bank account. The company has grown in magnitude of its assets and the people who run it, I want to believe, have grown in their expertise and experience. I am willing to given them one more shot with this new project, all the embarrassing past notwithstanding.

and pay their CEO...

The CEO was getting paid for years with the I.O.U. notes from Brazil Minerals, as evidences from the most recent 10-K he now converted all of this notes into COMMON shares of BMIX at this measly price per share. Say what you will, but this is worth something.
