The reason that you may be getting a $0 commission is that the price can by unlimited on the upside. This means that the broker does not know the closing cost until after the trade.

I have ran into this before and had trades on only one share be into the hundreds of dollars because the stock was on the greys. The reason for this is that this is done with paper in a way and there can be costs on delivering the paper certificates or shares, ther can be even unlimited legal cost if there are problems getting the certs from whom ever was selling or the transfer agent.

Some shares could be counterfit in this kind of market and for some of those reasons most brokers don't mess with it because it can be a real hastel clearing the rades and mailing the certs and even having to get opinion letters from lawyers.

So.......I never tried again after my broker scared me with that information. NOW some of that is a few years old info.....but IMO......better ask a broker directly even on e-trade because it may all go smooth until it does not go smooth and then you will be charged.

We think we get a bargain and then we can get reamed. Also I heard that limit orders and all or none and restrictions that you think you have may not be so clear........since it is a grey market.

problaby a good idea to ask them both on what is the hidden risk in this market. It sure is tempting though.....if you get lucky and get the shares in your account and they are real and clear of any issues......which sometimes you or the broker do not know until may be years latter when some transfer agent in these pink sheets goes out of business and can't deliver.......So???

it is a buyer be aware sort of thing......but greed and a bargain is a strong magnet. I know.......I have been in this stock a long time...."greed"....I know well.
