You would sell on big pops and try to re enter at a lower price would be the reason. There are traders out there, and not just investors. Look at harvest alone, 4 to 8 back to 5.90. Then up to 10.85 and back to 8.
Lot of opportunities, I am a long term holder and just add more on the dips but you can't be blind to the trader that wants to play the ebb and flows and get in and out and pay the short term capital gains or pair it with losses from another trade.
