Lightrock,

Yes thank you :) I get the general concept. Basically just another thing to complicate things further.

But I got curious and got lost in a google search about global survival rates and how they vary for various cancers. The best link I could find was this one:

It shows that even in 2018 countries survivals for various cancers still vary greatly. For example for colon cancer compared to the U.S and Canada, other countries that we have in the study such as Malaysia, India, Russia, Poland, Croatia all were about 10% or lower in survival for 5 years.

Poor Survival - The countries in our study that seem to still have very bad survival rates for 5 years seem to be:
India, Russia, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Thailand, Turkey, Malaysia. (8)

Good Survival - The countries with the best survival for 5 years seem to be:
U.S, Canada, France, Israel, Taiwan, Spain, Austria, U.K, Italy (9)

Unknown but probably poor survival - The countries that weren't mentioned but I feel like they have very bad survival rates as well are:
Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovnia, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Hungary, Serbia (6)

My point is, this confirms to me that survival rates have got to even out worldwide for our study. Even if some places have great survival, some places have horrific survival. It seems like maybe 14 countries have poor survival and 9 have good survival. Just something to think about.
