Acreage holds 7% of Dixie since they were High Street Capital Partners, actually since they were born in 2014

High Street Capital Partners is formed 2014. They invest in Dixie Brands, one of the most recognized names in infused products.

They share a couple of directors (including one of Dixies co-founders):

Board of Directors

Hugo Alves, President, Auxly Cannabis Group Inc.

Devin Binford, Managing Member, Acreage Holdings

Brian Graham, Founder, Rise Investments International

Vincent "Tripp" Keber, III, Co-founder, Dixie Elixirs and Edibles

Michael Lickver, Executive Vice President of Strategy, Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. Charles Smith, President & CEO, Dixie Brands Inc.

Melvin Yellin, Co-founder and Executive Vice President, Acreage Holdings

Whats even more interesting is the purchase Acreage has done and its vision of using it as a platform for nation-wise distribution of CPG products once it becomes Federally OK to do so

Also have a look here, around 10:00 they revolve around why brands are where the money will be at and their plans to enable third party brands been rolled out nation wide, which again looks very interesting given their stake in Dixie :

Also interesting to cross examine the states Dixie says it wants to expand to and the total number of dispensaries Acreage plans to open on each one of those States, almost a perfect match except for AZ.
