About damn time! Lasix is a very bad race day med. After the horse is given a dose, they are almost never allowed any water to drink until after the race. Only a few owners/trainers request specifically that their horses be allowed to drink prior. When you consider the hear that they often race in- allowing no water is far more dangerous than the possible bleeding.
