Got the Coffee and served it at the Board meeting. In this post, I will only be telling you what the reactions were and exactly what was said about Elev8 Coffee grounds. House Blend.

My Opinion: The Aroma was light as well as the brewed color. The grounds texture was gritty or chunky like a self ground bean. I used 2 Tablespoons for one pot, 3 for one and 4 for another. It did darken a bit and in all brews, some of the grounds got into the pot so a slow drip should be used. There is a Nut smokey after taste which is not bad. It is not a strong coffee which I would prefer my self, so for a light coffee or weak coffee, it was fine.

I was expecting 5 reps and 8 showed up. We all tasted all 3 pots that were brewed. The facial expressions on everyone were unremarkable as if just staring at a screen waiting for a page to load. 3 sales reps did a half shrug of the shoulders and said it was ok, 3 said it was good but light, and 2 said not bad.

After talking for a half hour, none of the 8 placed an order and said they will be in touch. 3 of them I know personally and they said it seemed like an average coffee using CBD as a sale point but think the Iced tea and coffee in the can may sell to the younger generation who seem to buy anything CBD, Hemp, Pot related. I was hoping for a better outcome my self and thought this would be a slam dunk. Still too early to tell if the others will want to order for there stores.
