Why all these invalid comparisons?

Trixie never had a new product. They bought a 5 year old Italian product which sold 2 or 3 units over 5 years in Europe. Wasn't new, and even when it was developed it offered a worse solution than was already available through ISRG. CE marked in 2011, offered for sale early 2012... How many Senhace systems on the planet now? Maybe a dozen? Cannot validly compare to revolutionary new hardware, 2019 state-of-the-art technology with smaller pricetag than the competition (ISRG) and smaller footprint than anyone else, with a different target market (smaller organizations which can't afford da Vinci) and hospitals that are sick and tired of ISRG's business practices (which is most of their customer base).

Comparing to drug approvals is further from valid. New drugs come on the market to offer a patient a chance at a better life than is otherwise available - often the difference between life and death itself. SPORT or da Vinci? They do things which could be done open or laparoscopically; nobody's going to die if SPORT doesn't make it to the market.

Comparing to a high school restaurant job? Should I try to draw analogies to my old paper route? Get a grip!
