Yes. A company usually gives a dedicated broker instructions on how to execute trades linked to a share repurchase program. It must be done within SEC guidelines so as to not intentionally manipulate the market for the stock.

Since Trina alluded to buying back shares at this level, I’ve been monitoring the bids and how the L2 appears when blocks are sold into them and there are signs of strategic accumulation that would indicate the possibility of a broker “working” the stock to accomplish an open market buyback.
