Was the 175k dump at open a deliberate move to set the downward trend for the day, or just someone offloading on the back of the small uptrend? Yesterday, I was not aware of any manipulation; the first time in ages. Could it be that Glencore had become aware that they had forced the price down too low, opening the distinct possibility that a rock bottom Rights price could lead to big financial institutions and others swooping in and grabbing large numbers of cheap shares, which might then prevent Glencore from taking a controlling interest? What do others think?
