If there is expectation of an increase in stock price small raises would be preferable as an increase would give more favorable terms. Given the potential of this drug the share price is ridiculous so an expectation of a higher price is quite reasonable.

Everyone here bemoans dilution, but I expected 15-20% dilution this year before I bought in. I think that dilution would be preferable to selling off U.S. rights and the concomitant reduction in profits.
