It is no longer clear, but still lets an awful lot of light in. Just hold the bottle wrap up to the light and one can "see" the problem. Also, oxygen exposure can be as bad as light exposure. CBD degrades rather quickly in the presence of oxygen after extraction. While in plant form, there is a little better protection.

Even the darker bottles for CBD oil can result in a lot of degradation (possibly toxic).

The industry will continue to improve, but consumers should be aware. After I pointed out the issues with one smoke shop's CBD oil in brightly-lit display cases with part-day sun exposure, they decided to keep most inventory in closed boxes, with some display items remaining out. They were very concerned with product degradation and potential toxic breakdown.
