Okay all, it’s time for me to do a little preaching in the way of an observation as well as a prediction.

Univec is part of a group of companies bent on changing the world. Our group of companies operates in the cannabis industry, and while our immediate group is primarily hemp centric, our affiliated companies (i.e., MariMed and Harvest) grow both hemp and marijuana. The point is, the future of this industry is in “tailoring” products to meet specific needs. In the case of hemp, different varieties produce differing and specific treatments for specific ailments. Also, a small percentage of THC added to a CBD product can act like a booster rocket for treating certain medical conditions. So the number of potential products just seems infinite.

Another observation is that consumers are becoming increasingly distrustful of big pharma, and there is a growing mistrust of the FDA and DEA. This distrust is causing consumers to increasingly take control of their own medical treatments, and they are not afraid to try plant based medicines (a trend that big pharma is absolutely terrified about). Sativeo grows at least four different varieties of hemp with one variety closely linked to treating cancer. AGRiMED set up its hydroponic grow facility to grow various varieties of marijuana, and Hemp Commodity Industries grows different varieties in different geographic areas with some geared toward CBD and others geared toward fiber production and/or food. Both humans as well as livestock benefit from cannabis products.

Thus, our group of companies grows a large enough variety of cannabis plants to treat nearly every category of ailment, and more varieties are being discovered and added all the time. So once these companies start releasing news, I expect news will keep right on coming. And big pharma is not immune. Big pharma will actually partner with the best positioned cannabis companies so as not to lose out on market share. At this point, any cannabis company with high quality products and a solid relationship with the managers at big pharma companies will have the advantage. In our case, we have an ace in the hole with a man we know as Doctor David Dalton, the CEO of Univec. Yes, the future looks bright indeed.
