The outlook for fertilizer sales in 2019 is for a substantial increase, driven by a strong marketing program which was started in the fourth quarter 2018. First quarter 2019 sales were up more than 50 percent compared to the prior year’s first quarter. I am happy to see this. A strong marketing program. The in-house sales force may be paying off. Something that was needed for a long time. The weather will always be a problem in the northern part of Californian. Lots of farming in the south, and in Arizona, New Mexico,and other places where the weather may be less of a problem.
