That's strange indeed, I noticed that it's very different from case to case. No idea why, I can only assume the SEC sometimes has more questions and sometimes they are good with it but I agree, one week seems really fast. I did have companies in the past where it took many months as well and sometimes they would even cancel the S1 since somehow they couldn't get it effective.
