La Ventocilla Olive Plantation

The "La Ventocilla" near Jerez de la Frontera, a city of 215,000 inhabitants in the province of Cadiz (Atlantic) has an area of 175 ha. After the harvest in February / March 2018 we will be with the implantation of begin approximately 90,000 olive trees and therefore expected in the winter of 2018/2019 with a harvest alone from this fifth plantation of 500,000 liters of olive oil. With "La Cilla Ventos" Acordy-Invest SA has extended olive cultivation in terms of area of 38%. The area around Cadiz is very rich in water which is the main reason that the olives there are very large, which in turn will lead to an above-average rich harvest.

The olives are harvested from November to January and pressed from late January to mid-April in our own olive oil refinery in Cordoba.
