It looks like the press release addresses several concerns previously raised on this board:
The ability to produce GLP-compliant 1 Kg batches of NV-HHV-101
The rationale for NV-HHV-101's believed ability to arrest PHN pain
Cidofovir's toxicity and the clinical need for a low-toxicity alternative
