I like the convenience. I don't fully trust the wallets and vaults as too many cryptos have been hacked where there seems to be a slim to none chance of recovery.

I set up an old offline laptop where I could act as my own vault (acked up to zip drive kept offsite and paper copy in a safe. Too much of a PITA (Pain In The Axx). This ETF traded inside my Roth is much easier. And yes, more familiar.

You are paying a premium for the ease of trading on a familiar exchange. Lots of casual investors aren’t comfortable with the whole bit coin wallet / unfamiliar trading aspect so they play it here.
