1. Brookfield Properties
In active discussion with Brookfield Properties, who recently acquired General Growth Properties, and is our current landlord in our Glendale location. On August 28, 2018, Brookfield Property Partners acquired GGP for $9 billion in cash as well as units in the new company, Brookfield Property REIT. Its portfolio consists of 162 shopping malls in the United States. GIGL is desired by malls as they significantly increase mall foot traffic.
2. Synergistic Acquisitions.
Company recently engaged one of the top business brokers in Los Angeles and has been introduced to several candidates for potential synergistic acquisitions. Synergistic Acquisitions have become an increasingingly popular growth strategy. Synergy, which represents the potential added value from merging two organizations, can be split into two primary categories; operational synergies and financial. Evidently, in certain situations a combination of two organizations can create more value than the sum of the two parts thus highlighting the attractiveness of a Synergistic Acquisition.
3. Investor and/or Investor Groups
The same business broker has also been tasked with finding an investor and/or investor groups that could potentially become significant shareholders in the company with an investment that would provide the necessary expansion capital to execute on previously announced Company plans.
4. Crowd Funding Campaign
Target amount $300,000. Amount raised to date $57,139. Campaigned ends 4/15/19.

5. Franchise/Expansion
Mr. Philip Gay has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company effective April 1, 2018 has since became Co-CEO sharing duties with Joey Parsi. Phil has 30 years experience in operating restaurants, accounting and finance and has assisted middle market companies with financing, mergers and acquisitions, franchising and strategic planning needs. He served as the Chief Financial Officer for California Pizza Kitchen, where he, and John Kaufman, COO, and the founders lead the company's expansion to over 100 locations. Phil brings nearly three decades of industry-related senior executive experience to Giggles N' Hugs.
