I used to work around "live aircraft." Many times you had to operate different types of motorized vehicles. From very little to very, very large. The first thing one was trained and then constantly reminded to do was what we called a "walk around" of your vehicle before you started it.
When I was still driving, I used to do this as a matter of habit with our family vehicles and my wife used to say I was overly "by the book." Now, not only is she practicing this, but we have the kids, as they become of driving age doing it too. The younger they get into the habit the more likely it is to become ingrained. That "clip" over the weekend about our "blind spots" while in a vehicle, really hit home.

Only thing I wish Mr. Wiley would come up with is a "cat identifier", wouldn't want to miss the chance to run him over!LOL! I know....sick, couldn't resist. JUST KIDDING ALL YOU CAT PEOPLE, HAVE MERCY!
