I actually spoke with our CEO about the Phase 3 which is planned for next year. I'm hoping to get him involved with City of Hope, where I've been treated, and have discussed that with my Dr. there who heads hematology.

I plan on sending him information about contacting my Dr. who's aware that cannabis is being tried in Israel. I believe COH would be open to a trial if it's permitted by the Federal Govt. I know they receive Federal funding, and their is a fear of losing that support if unauthorized use of cannabis is found there, or in any other hospital. I would hope that if the FDA was participating in the trial that it could be done here, but frankly the various Govt. departments are not in complete agreement, so it needs to clearly be legal.

It seems that CBD based therapies are okay, as places like Walmart have announced that they'll be selling it in some stores. I'm uncertain, but believe it's in State's where cannabis sales are legal. It's still a confusing market as it seems like whoever is heading the Justice Dept. sets the policy. We need Congress to set this out once and for all, but that's true of so many things, so no telling how long we'll be at the whim of the head of the Justice Dept. With all of Jeff Sessions bluster, I don't believe he ever went after a cannabis operation that was legal in the State, but he was certainly no friend of cannabis. Barr seems more open to it, but again it can all change at a moments notice, and a tweet from the President. Make it a law, then it can only change if the law is changed.
