On second thought, I don't actually have that much more to say about the demo as I originally thought. It really does seem to be as you said, just an analytic tool, but then again, I don't fully understand the GDPR so I'll have to brush up on exactly what a 'fix' would constitute. I never used Splunk though I've heard of it. As far as administration has gone I've really just stayed inside of terminal/shell for whatever scanning/auditing/logging needs to be done, or write some kind of Python script for it. Again, that's just me personally. I work in software engineering currently and not IT, so I am less familiar with the industry standard for tools in IT.

The irony is that even with my background, I still sunk some money into this on impulse. Such is life.
