the PEIX investors are likely to see higher prices

I truly hope so, but they need to start to outperform the expectations. The Book Value has been high compared to the trading price for a long time. And despite that, the overall price dropped. PEIX needs to keep the closing price above $1 at least once every 210 day's, or else they would need another RS.
They will be fine IMO until the next earnings (reported within 40 days) But they need to have a good result to keep it that way.
