I think it's a combination of a few things.
#1 We had a bunch of custodianship petitions hit all in a short span during late December on into January and it over saturated the market.
#2 It's natural for trading trends to fluctuate. At some point in the future we could see custodianship plays become a hot trend again.
#3 The market for OTC stocks in general have slowed down of late. Summer is always slow for penny stocks. This year summer has started a little early.
And another thing to consider with custodianship plays is that the more popular they are when the custodianship petition hits the more likely they will be popular during the other stages of the custodianship process (custodianship granted, entity reinstated at the NV SOS, OTC filings hit, custodianship terminated, shell sold, reverse merger).
