FDA allows food components and botanical extracts that are already being sold on the commercial market, we search that first when deciding whether to study a new compound for development. The labeling (claims of therapeutic efficacy) and product integrity/purity are their main concerns. Diamond is careful and thorough about both and has been working with the FDA for some time. There are 544 clinical trials currently underway for CBD- see link below, and many many published results. The letter went out to ALL CBD product producers. I am absolutely not worried.
