If you read the offering announcement, the base price of MUX for insiders and investors participated in the offering is 1.55 if the share price stays under $2 for three years and $1.03, if price goes above $2, and warrants can be exercised. So, theoretically, if any participated investor is sure that MUX will exceed $2 in 3 years, he can safely short the stock down to low 1s. Hopefully this is not what’s happening now.
