You suggest, and rightly so, that DNAP needs to focus on it's target markets, but the reality is, there are non.
While there are significant products in the works, statnome, ovanome etc. There are no established markets for them. While the products have an intellectual appeal, there are no compelling economic advantages for them. Therefore no market. It is not enough to create a clever product, it is equally necessary that that product meet a specific need.
DNAP has for too long relied on it's leading edge science and it's innovative products. Innovative products, however, are only deemed valuable if they solve specific and immediate problems. It's time that DNAP put the horse back in front of the cart and start with specific needs and go on to develop innovative solutions to address them.
