HELP HELP

Please educate me? How does one make money on a stock being traded in tenths of a penny? I am ancient and holding 700k shares since 2005, averaging down to 14 cents. What will be necessary to move this shell, yes a shell holding nothing of value? All the patents they held and if they had any value we won't be trading in tenths of a penny. Fill me in. I am lacking logic. I beg you not to give some sarcastic or cute remark. Are we shooting the dice hoping to make our roll or it will be crap? It seems you are doing something I haven't done since Y2K, like making money.
