This is not accurate as usual. CCAA asks shareholders to forfeit their right to vote on a Plan of Arrangement because of conflicts of interests:

A. Shareholders would not vote on a plan that may cancel their own equity stakes.

B. Shareholders may be able to leverage their vote on a Plan of Arrangement against creditors for unfair gain.
