Market makers bring down prices of good stocks to control the price during times of low volume. This is normal. Nobody can make money without buying low. It's not going down from impatient investors, although some investors will sell assuming there's some sort of problem. When the market makers decide it's time for an upward fluctuation, they will bring the price up and then bring it back down if volume drops. IF the catalyst is strong enough, the buying will be too great and the price will be able to go higher than their control.
