Sometimes there's some justice. My dad bought a penny stock not all that long ago. Almost immediately afterwards the trading was halted, and has been for many months now. The FBI had someone on the inside investigating and suddenly charges were filed. I was in a stock that had a caveat emptor put on it by the OTC for something that looked like an illegal promotion. They were absolved ultimately but the 30 days they were under the c.e. was killer to the price.
