This is a follow up to the Vox article on CBD effectiveness that I posted earlier. I tried their patches myself and decided the article was pretty much spot on. The first patch I tried seemed to have some pain relief affectiveness and seemed to help me sleep. But after that, nothing...no noticeable affect, I'm guessing the first one was just the placebo affect.

But after reading the article I decided to try a full 300 mg at a time. So after an afternoon of skiing, which lately has been giving me a sore back and an almost sleepless night, (the sleep problem is most likely due to being keyed up from all the activity and not being able to relax), I applied 2 and half patches at once to my shoulders about an hour before bedtime and I slept very well and the back soreness diminished considerably.

Problem is, at over 5 cents per mg that comes to over $16 per dose and about $6000 per year if one needed to used that dose everyday. And I can imagine someone with severe chronic pain or sleep problems would. Without insurance coverage who could afford that? Not most people. So the price of CBD is going to have to come down considerably before most of us can use it.

Trading or investing without chart analysis is like going to a gunfight armed only with a knife.
