In my opinion, Edible Garden was always a MJ play for Derek. If MJ is legal in NJ it would be stupid to grow basil. That said, for now it gives MJ a 'respectable' image for TRTC's licensing folks to push.

Kinda like Acreage promoting their 'organic' image which, I feel, is akin to Jack Daniels using 'organic' glue on their labels on each bottle of booze.
