Morning all,
It’s is of utmost importance not to conflate Parliament House with The Gardens. These are two separate entities and the article includes a photo of the separate parcels of land. PHouse is on 3 parcels and The Gardens is not included. Donald is aiming to complete what is essentially a 1031 exchange, sell one property and use the capital gains into another like-kind property. This is 100% a liquidity play in my best and most reasonable interpretation. Having this kind of capitalization will be fundamental to the success of the larger vision.
