We're well beyond my pay grade here. We need Scaramouche (Rick H) to chime in but I think he uses SI and not IH.

A mild contra-indicator to that thesis is that IVIG did not help AD patients.

I believe that IVIG was used with Ideopathic diseases such as ITP and GBS. No blinded studies were ever done to define efficacy.

i.e. no known disease cause, no known disease tx, so what's
the risk.
