People around the world come here for serious care if they can afford too.

Canadians spend a Gigantic amount of Money for care here.

Can't get it in Canada

Complete nonsense and propaganda. More Americans go to other countries for healthcare than foreigners who come here. I remember one night as an intern at UPMC I admitted a member of Saudi royal family who just got off an airplane needing a liver transplant and very next patient I admitted was homeless and being admitted for complications of uncontrolled diabetes because he couldn't see a doctor and couldn't afford medication if he did have a doctor. If that's what is meant by the "world depends on us" and the "safety net takes care of all and fast," well, that's just sad and pathetic. I aspire to much, much more.
