In whose name is the application; DW or Attis?

It's Attis Innovations. The Attis application references another application, 2011/0294991 A1 which is now patented and owned by Liquid Lignin Company (LLC). I think the Attis process is a big improvement over the LLC process as it eliminates steps and results in a purer form of lignin.

Another lignin recovery option would be as described in publication US 2011/0294991 A1 whose entire content be fully incorporated by reference into this disclosure.

You may recall, GERS did the engineering work for LLC and has been investing/developing lignin extraction, purification and applications for years.

The Attis application goes on to mention application 14/798,729.

The most ideal carrier materials are those that would be used in downstream processing systems. For example, if nitrile rubber is used, the dried output could be in the form of a high performance polymer blend material containing a lignin component and an acrylonitrile-containing copolymer as described in U.S. patent application Ser. No. 14/798,729

Application 14/798,729 is now patent # 9,815,985. It's owned by Oak Ridge National Lab and has been licensed to Attis.

Attis' patented and patent pending process extracts high quality lignin economically. The Oak Ridge patent produces a polymer resin (bio-plastic) from the extracted lignin.

Good Luck To All!$!$
