So TCNNF is ready to go with product.
With Department of Health approval, Trulieve plans to sell the product as three separate flowers in a glass jar with a tamper-proof lid inside an opaque white box with a label. It will total 3.5 grams in weight, similar to the capsules currently used for vaporizing. The difference is the smokable flower won’t be in the packaging legally required for vape use. Because of that, they’ll be about two dollars cheaper than the vape product, which is sold at $35, $45 and $55.
Another change that came with the new legislation is that patients will now legally be able to use their own papers or glass smoking devices to use the product — they won’t have to buy them directly from Trulieve, Rivers said. That’s a departure from what’s been required up until this point, she said — customers are required to buy accessories like vaporizers and batteries directly from their treatment center. For those who do want it, however, Trulieve does plan to sell its own rolling paper with approval.
