"It seems as though many here feel personal joy at the long's expense. "
I, too, recognize that...and do not agree with glee in the face of someone's loss...generally speaking. As always, exceptions exist.
"It is not as though people who invested here to make a profit were out to do anyone harm."
Understandable.
And your sentence is well-written. However, if you've done this awhile, you must be aware that many *only* claim to "invest" in a part of the market that almost *all* traders with any significant experience acknowledge/warn/exclaim is absolutely *not* an arena for investment.
Flip-side, there *are* INDEED many, many who have no interest in investing, no interest in helping build a real company, YET they will act as though they do...and post as though they do. Why? to get NEW MONEY into a play, and then cash out...
"Why does this make bashers feel that they can take pride in treating them as money hungry, greedy morons?"
Many who get labeled as bashers are simply those more experienced. For our purposes, of this discussion, let's accept the concept of bashers. In that sense, "paid" or "profit-from-shorting" bashers would be long-gone by now...yes? no?
"The fact is that the private company had value and the reverse merger with fronthaul made sense."
How is that a "fact" ? Reverse merger made sense for whom?
