Sure, I'll clarify my thought process...

Last month Matthew talked about how they were in advanced proposals and discussions with big box retailer executives - specifically retailers like Target, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid (mentioned via email).

Matthew has mentioned to me previous to these tweets that each of these retailers were intrigued with the direction the industry was taking and what Innerscope had to offer.

CVS was still building out their hearing clinics at the time. None of the retailers said, "No." to Innerscope at that time. I believe that they were definitely intrigued because shortly after that time the move for CVS to close their hearing clinics was made official in preparation for the OTC Hearing Aid Act to pass next year.

IF Mark and Matthew are already closely working with CVS then a discussion of what will the now former-CVS audiologists and hearing aid specialists do? Where will they work? They didn't just lay off cashiers - it would have specifically been audiologists and hearing aid specialists. It makes sense for Innerscope to work with CVS on placing their employees (some of them anyways) at work at Innerscope if CVS is already planning on carrying the Nexus DTC (speculative on my part).

Leave work at CVS on a Friday - start work at Innerscope on a Monday.

CVS had 22 hearing clinics in California alone.

Additionally, with the potential DTC deal - CVS isn't (imo) going to try to sell their current name brand hearings aids DTC. If there is an equal or better, more cost effective hearing aid solution then as a Big Box retailer it's in their blood to carry that product.

The Nexus, according to Matthew, has all the same features as Eargo's hearing aids at half the cost.
