they said they would launch in spring prior to approval so best guess is there was some doubt about approval and they didn't want to incur the cost of a full sales force until they locked down approval. I think they also feel like they need the full data set published to have a successful launch and that might have affected the timing
but all in all odd of course most companies would be chomping at the bit to start generating some sales
