Still a possibility it could be related to a build up of ractopamine metabolite as the more pork she consumed the more the metabolite exposure. Like I said. Just something interesting to note.

5% of total ractopamine excreted represented the parent drug, while the urinary metabolites were monoglucuronide and monosulfate conjugates, with ractopamine monosulfate being the major metabolite present



I'll cite the koryaks relationship with amanita and reindeer as evidence of intoxicated animal meat intoxicating the consumer.

Reindeer meat, if taken shortly after slaughter, can on occasion affect the consumer.



Seems like they came up with a more effective means of gaining access to these metabolites through the urine of both reindeer and Koryak consuming the other parties urine.
