First, they must be sautéed in fine butter with plenty of garlic. Remove from pan and add one cup of heavy cream. Bring to a light simmer and reduce to half volume. Add salt and pepper to taste with a twist of fresh lemon juice. Return books to the pan until heated through. Inspect pages to ensure that all entries are no longer legible.
