Not once did he say not to invest or buy the stock in the company here. Looks like he was going to offer you preferred stake into the company as the amount invested was on the heavy side and protect the investment. Seems like he was looking out for you and asking you to contact the company to make a direct investment as you seemed scared for your investment in commons.
