The real positive from this financing, that was expected, is the small number of shares and funds they raised this time. Unless they do another one this is a good thing. This is where the share price could go over night if they get a buyout offer. $350M puts the share price at $5 and $500M puts the share price at $7. I think either one of those values is very realistic. The deep pockets buyer will go ahead and invest in FDA approval so food testing can be done. Also don't forget water testing. Then there is the interest from Homeland Security in air testing for potential dangerous toxic chemicals by terrorists.

LexaGene's one hour testing technology for multiple pathogens is going to completely change the industry. I think there are many companies and funds that would snap them up. $7 a share has a nice ring to it.

Their invitation by the USDA to come present their technology capability could be the spark that lights the fire.
