No. It simply means the hearing on motion to dismiss has been cancelled. The judge has decided to make a decision on the motion to dismiss only on the papers submitted by both parties.

This can be good or bad depending on the judge. Judge Koh has proven to be fair and smart in past cases but we have no idea if there exists any undue influences by defendants or their supporters behind the scenes.

Just my opinion.
