I posted that message while the market was still open. After I posted it, the price dipped below last Thursday's $1.21 closing price, which for me changed a bullish trend into a bearish trend.

I understand it. A stock opens, drops in price moves up again and to you that's a sign that it is still bullish. It's a short term trend. TA for a stock never seems to do what is logical around earnings

I on the other hand look at the history of previous earnings and see a trend that PEIX almost always moves up prior to earnings, drops after earnings no matter the result, moves up again and moves down again to continue at a lower range. No TA, just experience of 7 years PEIX

Do you understand and accept the volatility of many ethanol stocks?

If you do, then you wouldn's try to use TA on a stock like PEIX day before the earnings release

Are you aware that the Attis shareholders could vote on a reverse split of their stock?

I don't know how Attis is related to PEIX, and yes shareholder can vote. But that WILL NOT AVOID THE RS.
