Yeah unfortunately you're right. That was the turning point for me as well. When they said no more than a 1:20 reverse split, and then suddenly it was 1:15,000, they lost all credibility. Once you put a statement out there like that, then go completely against your word, you've really damaged your reputation, likely beyond repair. The 1:15,000 reverse split indicated to me that they just didn't have the goods. I've seen it a lot in OTC land, which is why you have to be very careful not to gamble way over your head. Some play money sure, but always be sure you're socking away a lot in your retirement, house payments, etc. Those are the big things.
